STIE in MOU Signing with Uzbekistan Tashkent Metropolitani

Last January 16, State Unitary Enterprise Tashkent Metropolitani entered into an agreement with STIE PTE Ltd. for the development of the Tashkent Metro at the Uzbek-Singaporean Business Forum in Uzbekistan’s capital, Tashkent. 

Moreover, both parties proceeded with the Agreement Signing Ceremony during the official state visit of the President of Singapore to Uzbekistan last May 24. 

The agreement covers the provision of design consultation, the construction of new lines and stations, and the development and modernisation of the Tashkent Metro’s infrastructure. The project is set to take place from 2023 to 2026. 

STIE will take on an active role and provide concept and engineering design, including systems, procurement, mechanical and electrical engineering, signal and communication, ventilation and water drainage system and operations maintenance for the entire project.
