STIE joined 14 other reputable FM companies to receive the Certified Facilities Management Company (CFMC) GoldPlus

STIE Accredited to SIFMA CFMC GoldPlus

In February 2022, STIE joined 14 other reputable FM companies to receive the Certified Facilities Management Company (CFMC) GoldPlus accreditation of the Singapore International Facilities Management Association (SIFMA). 

CFMC GoldPlus is the highest accreditation SIFMA awards to different facilities management companies. The certification process has rigorous standards, and companies are judged according to established General standards and in categories involving People, Process, and Technology. 

Companies that belong to the GoldPlus circle have a minimum net worth of SGD 2,000,000 and at least a Star BizSAFE Star Level. They are also required to have signed the Pledge for Better Built Environment Workplace and show that they provide a training plan that addresses the staff’s training needs. Senior management must also be actively involved in the development of the FM industry. 

Technology-wise, the company must also show their commitment by appointing a member of senior management as a champion of Research and Innovation. Processes attain ISO 41001 or ISO 9001 certification as well. 

STIE Executive Director Maslina Mohamed spoke on behalf of the company, praising the team’s hard work for propelling STIE to meet SIFMA’s stringent accreditation requirements. 

Maslina expects STIE to reach greater heights, as SIFMA’s accreditation places the company better positioned to achieve more in the facilities management industry. She also highlighted the company’s diverse and open culture, allowing women like herself to take on key management roles in a male-dominated industry.
