STIE Joins SIAA as Corporate Member

STIE has joined SIAA, the Singapore Industrial Automation Association, as a Corporate Member effective May 2022.

The SIAA is a trade association for companies and professionals in the AIR–Automation, Internet of Things (IoT), and Robotics sector. The group aims to bring together different expertise of the various members, with the dream of bridging cross border co-operations. There are currently 500 active member companies, spanning a variety of industries.

By being a member of the SIAA, STIE is asserting its quest for business excellence in Automation, IoT, and Robotics technologies and applications. This membership enhances its business value chain, as STIE moves towards digitization of its iFARMS, the computerised maintenance management system to incorporate more robotics and smart sensors to its platform for automation and to achieve better performance and real-time data analytics capabilities, both in hard and soft maintenance services.

STIE will now be one of the first to receive market trends in the industry, including government initiatives and assistance schemes. They can also leverage SIAA’s network and create local and overseas alliances. STIE will also enjoy extensive marketing exposure through SIAA’s website and events. Another benefit includes financial incentives that reach up to 50% under the International Marketing Activities Programme and the manpower assistance in the Enhanced Internship Programme.

It’s time to look forward to STIE transforming its business value from preventive maintenance to predictive maintenance by adopting condition-based monitoring (CBM) concept. Productivity will be further optimised thanks to early detection and diagnosis of faults, leading to optimised maintenance intervals that will improve service enhancements and increased assets ROI.
